Waking up to a beautiful sunny sky and no commitments on our calendar meant one thing, a perfect day for a hike.  By the time we got to the trail head some clouds had gathered in the distance, giving us beautiful shots once we reached the top.
Lunchtime on Oyster Dome.
We shed some layers going up, but the cool breeze on top made us look for a cozy nook that could shield us from the wind.
The wind from which we sought refuge from, was a delight to others, such as this para glider.
It took him a few tries

but the wind finally took over
and off he went, to ride the freedom of thermals!

Cooking for Crowds

Last weekend Shawn & I along with some other friends, made sure that the highschoolers and their leaders would not go hungry during their winter retreat.

We had a great team of fun and hard working people, which made the task before us a breeze.

Although it was a winter retreat, we were blessed with beautiful spring weather that allowed us to soaked up some vitamin D during our down time.
