The Puzzle Challenge

December tends to be a busy month for most of us, but it's also what I try hard to avoid; getting to busy and overlooking what really matters. The boys look forward to this time of the year and their favorite memories, (yes, they are are young but already have memories), are gathering around the fireplace to read, play games, set up Legos and so on. This year we added another activity that will help us slow down and spend time around the table (close enough to the fireplace). We are putting together a 1000 piece puzzle. We spend most of Sunday afternoon working on it and got the whole frame and a few other parts put together. It will take us a while, but that's exactly the point.
To break away from the puzzle, (after a while the pieces all blend together), we had some Mechano to work on.
Or we could just sit and dream and wish!!

Simone, we love to do this too. On a practical note, I have a question. Do you just not eat at this table until the construction is finished?? Or do you somehow lift those tablecloths and put the work someplace else??
